This is a five day Summer School in Applied Human Nutrition hosted by the University of Cambridge in collaboration with the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition of the University of Parma, Italy.

The course provides 40+ contact hours of in-depth exposure to basic concepts, research methods, disease prevention, healthcare applications and public health policy, all in the field of Human Nutrition. This takes place through practical and interactive sessions, case studies, self-directed learning and small group work.

In addition, attendees will be allocated personal mentors from the faculty for the duration of the Summer School and following the course. On completion of the summer school, alumni will automatically become associate members of the NNEdPro International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE), which will continue to provide advice and support on a one-to-one basis for at least the following 1 year.

 

The Summer School will be followed by the 5th International Summit on Medical Nutrition Education and Research on 11 July 2019 and the Congress of the International Nutrigenetics & Nutrigenomics 12-13 July 2019.
