The theme is mental health and wellbeing (for patients, carers, practitioners or students). You can use any creative medium for your submission including art, photography, music, dance, and spoken word.

Flourishing through creative enquiry
We are launching a new open access collection of ideas, images, poems and reflections around the arts and human flourishing within the field of health and illness. We would like to give people on all sides of the health care community a voice to share lived experience, to connect and communicate. Theme: Arts, Mental Health, Well being (for patients, carers, practitioners or students). This might include contributions around mental health, compassionate care, flourishing or learning through the arts. You may use any creative medium for your presentation, for example: music, dance, monologue, painting, photography, prose, poetry, sculpture accompanied by written reflection (limited to 500 words). The best 30 creative texts (poetry, image, prose etc) selected by the judging panel will be exhibited at the ‘Mad Hearts: The Arts and Mental Health’ conference 17-18th May, QMUL.
