Eczema Study in the Bangladeshi Community

A study called THEA is currently being run by The Blizzard Institute which aims to recruit 1,000 Bangladeshi children and young adults with atopic eczema from East London to look at why eczema in the Bangladeshi population is severe and associations with pollution and other environmental factors.

To join the study:

You have to be aged between 3 months and 30 years

Live in East London

Both parents Bangladeshi

Have atopic eczema severe enough to have required a hospital visit to the dermatologist or A and E at any stage.

For example, if you are now 20, and attended  the dermatologist age 10 that is fine.

It takes about 30 minutes.
