On Saturday 6th October BLSA are hosting a brilliant event as an introduction to volunteering. We will be having snappy 5 minute presentations by each of our volunteering groups so you can find out what you can get involved in, and then we will all be splitting into groups to go out into our local area to do some volunteering. This will include volunteering at a local allotment, creating presents for children with Project Play while learning how to crochet, helping organise a soup kitchen and many more!
After this we will be going for a meal at Needoos which will cost £13 for starters, mains, rice and naan - please bring exact change.
Location: Laird Hall, Ashfield St, Whitechapel E1 2BL
Time: 10:30am Sharp till 5pm
What to bring: Bring lunch, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, £13 for a curry if you would like to come along to it, and all your enthusiasm!
